Carrier‑grade optical platform enabling convergence of legacy TDM and packet‑based services
Tejas Networks TJ1280 is an ultra‑compact, multi‑service provisioning platform designed to deliver carrier‑grade optical transport and service aggregation. The platform supports a wide range of legacy and packet‑based services, with capacities scaling from STM‑1 to STM‑16, making it suitable for access networks with growing bandwidth demands. In addition, it supports Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces with Carrier Ethernet capabilities.

Ideal for access locations with low to moderate traffic, TJ1280 offers connectivity for E1, STMn, and Ethernet interfaces, supporting both electrical and optical connections. It supports reconfigurable optical ports and can also operate as part of STM‑1, STM‑4, or STM‑16 rings as the network evolves. These capabilities, combined with Carrier Ethernet support, make the platform well suited for delivering stringent SLA‑backed services, Voice over IP (VoIP), and mobile traffic aggregation for 2G/3G backhaul.

Open-Integrated DU/CU:

Our DU/CU solution is based on our unique Software Defined Radio (SDR) architecture which provides customers an open and dynamic vRAN platform that not only provides functional flexibility but also optimizes the TCO. This platform is the result of deep expertise in designing DSP based RAN platform. The open fronthaul interface, Control & Management Software is designed as per ORAN standard providing plug and play interoperability with 3rd party Distributed Units (DUs).

5G RU:

This is an ORAN based 5G NR Radio Unit. The solution includes support for various bands specially the low and mid bands like Band 71, 29 and 40. It can be customized for other bands as well.

Tejas WavePlexus 4G RAN solution includes both the Baseband Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Head (RRH), designed in house to deliver high-capacity LTE based mobile voice, broadband data and fixed wireless access services. The high capacity 4G BBU is seamlessly upgradeable to 5G, enabling smooth network evolution. Supporting multiple FDD and TDD bands including B1, B3, B5, B28, B40 and B41, the WavePlexusTM radios deliver advanced modulation schemes up to 256QAM for high throughput and spectral efficiency. Designed in a compact form factor, this solution provides an optimal balance of performance, energy efficiency and deployment flexibility.

Designed in house, WavePlexusTM 5G RUs incorporate advanced Massive MIMO (mMIMO) capabilities, including 32T32R and 64T64R configurations in n78 band, delivering enhanced capacity, coverage and spectral efficiency. Compliant with 3GPP standards and O RAN 7.2b specifications, the radios enable interoperable, disaggregated deployments across multi vendor Open RAN environments.
